The Department of Transportation supports safe and efficient road operations throughout the LVRP community. DOT members respond to roadway hazards, assist with traffic control, support emergency scenes, and help keep transportation operations running smoothly.
Road Operations
Assist with road hazards, closures, construction areas, and other roadway operations.
Traffic Support
Help control traffic around crashes, emergencies, road closures, and major incidents.
Roadside Assistance
Respond to disabled vehicles and other situations requiring transportation support.

Prioritize roadway and scene safety during every operation.

Create realistic transportation situations and remain in character.

Treat civilians, staff, and other departments with respect.
REQUIREMENTS

Be an active member of the LVRP community.
Follow all LVRP community rules.
Complete required DOT training.
Demonstrate good knowledge of transportation procedures.
Maintain professional conduct while on duty.
